Where in the world have I been?

Such conflicting emotions as I created this map....
- 20 countries! that's a lot! go me!
- apparently that's only 8% of all the countries in the world. so maybe not so much...
- but 4 separate continents! surely that counts for a lot.
- how sad would it be to die before getting to at least 2 more (i'm giving myself a pass on Antarctica -- not that i wouldn't go there if the chance came up. and somehow, i can easily picture a universe where i get there before Mexico)
- and there's sooooo many places i still want to get to: Australia, New Zealand (yes, i know, just like everyone else who saw LOTR), Tonga (!), India, Iceland, Greenland, Cuba, Brazil, Finland (more than just the airport; i didn't count it in my list), Djibouti (just for the name!), Israel, Egypt, Turkey, Greece, and yes, of course Mexico and freedom!
so why is it i haven't been out of the country since Montreal in 2001, and not off the continent since, um, [oh how embarassing] 1998??!?!? this is just wrong wrong wrong and needs to be fixed incredibly soon.
