If I were ever to start knitting (and admittedly, that's a big if), i think this would be what i'd want to make.

As my tenure case languishes on campus, I've found a cure. Knitting is just great! See my blog: http://cauchycomplete.blogspot.com (yep, I am that much of a geek) to understand . I learned from my mom in August, and can now make sweaters and socks. Also, there are some links there to mathematical knitting: hyperbolic space, mobius scarves, Lorenz manifolds, etc.
